CHRIS ENB CONSTRUCTION was established and registered in the 2017 as a general engineering maintenance, installations, and upgrade services provider under Act ,1962(No. 151), with safety, cost effectiveness and efficiency as the haul mark in all our service deliveries. Through the teams experienced, commitment and dedications, safety consciousness over the operational period, we have delivered proactive and timely engineering management and maintenance services coupled with quality enabling us deliver customer satisfaction to our clients. CURRENT POSITION AND FUTURE OUTLOOK

The business is in its sixth year of operation. Maintenance services are provided on a call order basis and the service support are expected to grow in the coming years. The expected growth will continue for another three years and then begin to level off. An area of opportunity in the future will be working mainly with mining company’s in the area of winder and shaft, heavy mining equipments and project design and execution.

The future projection of the Chris Enb Construction is taking total control of all underground mining shaft and winders level one audits which is currently been managed by foreign companies. The strategy is partner with the foreign companies based on the local content and takeover smoothly after the two (2) years’ time when we have successfully transferred knowledge and purchased the required equipments to ensure successful takeover.

Management and Ownership

Christopher Assowah is the majority stockholder and serves as President and Mrs. Elizabeth A.A Assowah as the CEO. He has over 15years’ experience in the construction industry and has “hands-on, ground-up” knowledge of all facets of the construction business. He has played a key role and functioned in a management capacity in most impact areas of the industry. His supervisory positions in the administrative, operational, technological, and fiscal areas of this discipline have afforded him the skills, experience, and talents necessary to lead Chris construction into the new century.

Economic Outcomes

Revenues for the five-year period will range from US$30,123 in the first year to US$62,787 in the fifth year. Corporate tax to be paid is estimated to be US$6,146 in year one, US$11,086 in year three and US$11,495 in year five. Net profit is estimated to be about US$11,413 in the first year and this will increase to about US$15,867 in the second year and about US$20,587 in the third year. In the fourth and fifth years about US$21,347 and US$24,930 respectively would be earned as net profit.

MANAGING DIRECTOR, (MD) Christopher Assowah, (0244757823)

Mechanical engineer by profession, holds B.sc and M.sc in Mechanical engineering from KNUST. In addition holds governance certificate of competency in both engineering manager and engineering superintendent. Expert in fleet management, Maintenance systems management/ Business developer specialist with vast experience in underground and Surface equipment maintenance management.

He has fifteen (15) years’ experience in fleet management.

TECHNICAL MANAGER, Mr Francis Kwame, mobile (0244988416)

Mr Francis is mechanical engineer by profession holding B.SC mechanical engineering and B.SC computer science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST).

Mr Francis has lots of practical experience in heavy mining equipment management and non-mining environment.

MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST, Ian Thompson Curry

Ian Curry is maintenance specialist by profession with vast experience in underground equipment management.

He has twenty-one (21) years’ experience as maintenance specialist with AngloGold, Obuasi.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, (Nicholas Amponsah)

Nicholas is a product of the University of Education, Winneba from where he holds a Bachelor of Education Degree in Management Studies. Over the past six years, Nicholas has been practising HR in both the Mining and Construction Industries. He is eager to learn, enthusiastic about taking on new opportunities and has a great eye for detail. He carries a lot of promise for the future and brings quite a good amount of experience to the job. His topmost areas of interest in the Human Resources field are Compensation, Benefits and Salary Administration; Staffing, Training, Education and Development; Community Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility. He is currently studying for an MBA in Human Resources Management at the KNUST Business School, Obuasi Campus.

IAN CURRY THOMPSON

A British Maintenance Specialist leads Chris ENB Construction's technical team of a vibrant and competent of engineers, mechanics and electricians. The technical team comprises four (4) supervisors and thirty (30) other artisans including mechanics and electricians.

Mr Charles Owusu

Formerly snr. Electrical supervisor AngloGold Ashanti Charles has 27yrs of underground and surface mining electrical experience. He is capable of maintaining, overhauling, installing and decommissioning of compressors, AC/DC winders, underground ventilation fans, high tension A/C (11KV) motors, DC motors (generators) and maintenance of electrical equipment and controls.

Mr Willard Ettu

Formerly mechanical engineering superintendent-winders AngloGold Ashanti. Mr Ettu has 30yrs of underground and surface mining mechanical experience. He is capable of maintaining, overhauling, installing and decommissioning of compressors, AC/DC winders, underground ventilation fans, high tension A/C (11KV) motors, DC motors (generators) and maintenance of electrical equipment and controls.

Mr John Acheampong

Former Snr. Elect. Supervisor AngloGold Ashanti. Motor Rewinding. John has 37 years’ experience with AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi and had hands on completed rewinding of FLYGT PUMPS and GRINDEX PUMP motor both repairs and overhaul. Hands on in maintaining high voltage motors such as Winder engine motors and SAGMILL MOTORS. Low Voltage motors were maintained by John. John carried out scheduled maintenance on Winders/fans/trolley/9 ton/compressors/Centac motors professionally as well as overhauling them. John’s professional experience also extends to the maintenance and overhaul of underground pumps/conveyor and Ventilation Fans motors.

Mr Fred Owusu

Former Snr. Eng. Supervisor AngloGold Ashanti. Machining. Fred Mine Mechanical Technician with 39 years’ experience as a Machinist with AngloGold Ashanti. Fred Owusu is an expert in the machining of Bushing/Coupling/Flanges/Washer/Bolts & nuts/Hinges/Pulleys/Gears/Clevis/Adaptors/All types of shafts & Pins/Rollers/Guide Ropes/studs/Collars/Nipples. Threading (bolts & nuts all kinds) Tapping and Extraction of broken bolts. Drilling holes and Counter sink. Milling (Keys, Hexagons) Slotting Key ways, internal splices etc)

Mr Anthony Arthur

Former Snr. Eng. Supervisor AngloGold Ashanti. Fabricating. Tony’s 31 years’ experience as a Professional fabricator with AngloGold Ashanti led him to fabricate and refurbished cage/skips/dump bucket/chute/drill platforms/measuring pockets/vibratory trays. Underground loaders, Tony fabricated the Canopies/steering caps/fenders/trunions./ flat trucks/battery compartment boxes/turn over doors/gallison trucks tipping rails/links. Tony’s fabrication works extend to the processing plant where he fabricated inter tank screen/inter tank wiper blade/ball mill chutes/gold house furnace/tanks & cones/dart valves/discharge trammel/agitator blades.

Anthony Asare

Former Supt. Civil engineering. Installation and Dismantling of surface project. Baffour with his 26 years’ experience was a team member in installing the Sulphur Treatment Plant which is currently in operation in AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi.

Benedict Baidoo

Former Supt.-Construction. Eng. Ben has 30 years’ experience with AngloGold Ashanti as construction engineer who has installed and maintains sky high projects such as construction of underground dewatering tanks reservoirs.

SERVICE WARRANTY

Chris Construction provides total maintenance service warranty of thirty (30) days when a service (schedule & corrective maintenance) is completed.

This warranty claim is dependent on the life of the equipment or component been worked upon.
